Allover

Allover quilting is an edge to edge quilting design.  It can be a pantograph or free motion quilting.

Semi-Custom

Semi-custom quilting can have one of several features.  It could be an allover pattern with a separate border pattern.  Or minimal block design with background filler.

Custom

Custom quilting uses a variety of techniques and patterns to highlight the uniqueness of your quilt top.  Includes ruler work and individual block design.

Heirloom

Heirloom quilting is a step above custom.  Intricate quilting creates a textural component to enhance your quilt top.  

Quilting Style

  • Allover Quilting  2.5 cents per square inch

  • Semi-custom Quilting 3.5 cents per square inch

  • Custom Quilting 5-10 cents per square inch depending upon complexity of design

  • Heirloom Quilting Pricing available after consultation

Thread

I use Aurifil 100% cotton for both top and bobbin theads.  The charge is $2.00 per bobbin.

Batting

I stock Quilter's Dream Poly (a high quality poly batting) for 25 cents per linear inch.  If you prefer another type of batting, please bring it with your quilt top.

Binding

  • Attach binding by machine to front of quilt for 6 cents per linear inch

  • Attach binding by machine to front and back of quilt for 15 cents per linear inch

  • Attach binding by machine to front and hand stitched to back  for $12 per half hour

Additional services

  • Pieced back for $10 per seam

  • Squaring up quilt top or back $20

  • Basic seamstress work, including closing open seams, reattaching borders, or misc. mending, $20 per hour.  Minimum of $15
